She was at the forefront of First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign invited by Mrs. Obama's team to head up a nutrition education initiative at the “Healthy Kids Fair” on the Whitehouse lawn. In 2010 on behalf of the Food Network Ellie testified before the House Committee on Agriculture about nutrition healthy eating and the growing epidemic of childhood obesity.
