Ed Garrett; author speaker and performance coach. Ed has been immersed in the team building and leadership world for the past twenty-three years. At the introduction of beach volleyball as an Olympic sport in 1996 the USA program was successful in taking home the games first ever gold and silver medals. Ed proudly served as their team manager providing the leadership and insight into what makes a program a champion. Entrenched in the foundation that athletics is more about giving than getting he has used this principle to teach effective leadership and team building concepts to both businesses and families. Eds knowledge of leadership comes from seasons working behind the scenes for Major League Baseball The NCAA The NAIA The Fellowship of Christian Athletes Masters Men Ministry and the USA Volleyball National Team. He is currently completing his doctorate in sports and performance psychology with a focus on family systems. Using the understanding that a happy marriage leads to a happy employee and that athletic teams are themselves simply large families Ed teaches these very same principles and concepts at seminars and retreats all over the country. A blessed father of four Ed resides in Tucson Arizona with his bride Mandy of thirteen years.
