Xiaolan Fu is Director of Program for Technology and Management for Development University Lecturer in Development Studies and Fellow of Green College at Oxford University. She is President of the Chinese Economic Association (Europe) and CEA (UK). She has undertaken consultancy activities for the ILO UNCTAD UNIDO Cambridge-MIT Institute and the British and Chinese governments. Her papers appeared in the Journal of Comparative Economics World Economy Cambridge Journal of Economics Journal of Development Studies Applied Economics Oxford Development Studies Translational Corporations Journal of Chinese Economics and Business Studies and Economic Change and Restructuring. Dr Fu is also a Senior Research Associate of the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge. She is the first Chinese speaker at the Cambridge-MIT Competitiveness Forum and received the European Commission Gate2Growth Academic Network 2005 'European Best Paper' Award.
