Jeffrey Freeman Hines is a New York native. He was a part of the integrated Seven-Year Medical Education Program at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. In May 1983, he graduated from Brown University with a bachelor's degree in biology, magna cum laude. In 1982, Jeffrey was awarded a United States Army Health Professions Scholarship. In May 1986, Jeffrey graduated from Brown University School of Medicine with a medical degree. Dr. Hines' research interests, background, and publications include papillomaviruses, cervical cancer vaccinations, clinical cancer trials, healthcare inequalities, and undergraduate student teaching. Dr. Hines is also a Robotic Surgeon who specializes in the treatment of women with cervical cancer, vaginal cancer, vulvar cancer, endometrial cancer, and ovarian cancer. He also regularly participates in cancer health education talks for at-risk populations. Dr. Hines started as an attending gynecologic oncologist at Southeastern Gynecologic Oncology in Atlanta, GA, which is now associated with Emory Healthcare. His offices are in Marietta and Riverdale, and he performs Robotic Surgery mostly at Cobb Hospital in Austell.
