Connie Mariano is a Filipina American physician and former United States Navy flag commander. She is the first Filipino American and a graduate of the Uniformed Services University of Medicine to rise through the ranks of the United States Navy to the rank of Rear Admiral, as well as the first woman to lead the White House Medical Unit. The White House Doctor: My Patients Were Presidents - A Memoir is her first book. The autobiographical book, which includes a preface by Bill Clinton, looks into the personal lives of the three American Presidents and three American First Ladies she cared for while working as a Physician to the President.
