Donna Hanover Biography

Actress and broadcast journalist Donna Hanover received a degree of prominence in 1994 as the wife of New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani. During her tenure as First Lady she sponsored a number of health and educational causes around the city and was active in the citys civic life. Married in 1984 Hanovers marriage to Giuliani started to end after reports of her husbands affairs. The couple finally divorced in 2002 shortly after Giuliani left office. Hanover and Giuliani have two children.
As actress Hanover who made her debut in the 1986 Sidney Lumet-directed Power has been frequently cast as journalist like in films Running on Empty (1988) The Dream Team (1989) Ransom (1996) Celebrity (1998) Light It Up (1999) and Jus Kiss (2002). A former radio and television reporter in Florida and Pennsylvania Hanover is now the morning show co-host for WOR radio in New York.
