Donald Glover Biography

Donald Glover born in 1983 is an actor writer comedian and musician. Glover first came to attention for his work in the sketch group Derrick Comedy and his first big acting role was as community college student Troy Barnes on the NBC comedy series Community. He graduated from New York University with a degree in Dramatic Writing in 2006.
Glover also raps under the name Childish Gambino and released the album entitled Sick Boi in June 2008. In September 2009 Childish Gambino released the album Poindexter. A pair of mixtapes entitled I Am Just A Rapper and I Am Just A Rapper 2 were released in close succession in early 2010. He released his third album Culdesac in July 2010 and his album Camp hit No. 2 on the US Rap and R&B charts in 2011.
He released his first studio album Camp in 2011. His second studio album Because the Internet was released in 2013. Glover's third album Awaken My Love! was released in 2016 spawning the single Redbone which peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and eventually earned him a Grammy Award for Best Traditional R&B Performance.
