Swayze was born in Houston, Texas, to choreographer, dance instructor, and dancer Patsy Yvonne Helen (née Karnes) and engineering drafter Jesse Wayne Swayze. He is the older brother of Sean Kyle and adopted sister Bora Song, and the younger brother of late actor Patrick Swayze and sister Vicky Lynn (nicknamed Bambi). He is a sixth cousin once removed of pundit John Cameron Swayze, as well as a related of Henry Karnes, a famous Texas Revolutionary Warfighter. In 2010, Swayze appeared in six episodes of HBO's True Blood as Gus, a werewolf, in a recurring role. He also starred as Col. Sherman Rutherford in Heathens and Thieves, a Western-Film Noir mix. He played a dancer in the 1980 film Urban Cowboy, Ruben in the film Father for Charlie, and Mark in the film Shy People, among other roles. He also starred in Death Ring and Alamo...Price of Freedom, an IMAX picture that premiered in San Antonio, Texas, as Alamo courier James Bonham. Swayze has been in scores of television shows, including Murder She Wrote, The X Files, NYPD Blue, Days of Our Lives, NCIS, and others. In an episode of the television show Matlock, Swayze played a mentally challenged guy suspected of murder. He also appeared in the HBO show Carnivàle, as well as Criminal Minds, in the episodes The Big Game and Revelations, where he played Charles Hankel, serial murderer, Tobias Hankel's father, and alternative personality. Swayze portrayed Grant Hall, an adult in Cold Case. He can now be seen on Days of Our Lives and The Young and the Restless. Swayze made a cameo appearance as a wild boat captain on It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. He's also appeared on The Bridge and Beyond Belief. Don Simpson (retired), a wounded Vietnam War veteran. Don enjoys skydiving and cycling, and in his leisure time, he competes in cross-country mountain bike events. Don made an appearance on Bravo's The Millionaire Matchmaker.
