Dominic's high school counselor advised him not to spend his time applying to colleges since he would either be dead or in jail. But there was something special about Dominic, and he climbed above it all as the first person in his family to attend college. He applied to the Educational Opportunity Program for college on the spur of the moment. Dominic finished his undergraduate degree in just three years. He attended graduate school at Syracuse University before beginning his career as a journalist in New York, where he interviewed Nelson Mandela and attended White House social gatherings. Dominic's life has been marked by incredible highs and heartbreaking lows, but also by persistence and redemption. He has also interviewed President Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and current contender Billionaire Businessman Michael Bloomberg. Dominic has gone to Israel, the Persian Gulf, and Japan on assignment. Dominic's autobiography, No Momma's Boy, was included in an Oprah Winfrey Magazine article.
