The youngest of 11 children Dina Manzo grew up watching her mother infuse creativity into every aspect of home and entertaining. This inspiration lead to a career designing some of the tri-state area’s most prestigious homes for more than 15 years. Dina turned her love of design and attention to detail to the party scene in 2005 launching her own design business Designer Affair. Dina integrates her passion for style and commitment to making a difference into all that she does from event planning and design to running her charity for children with cancer to playing her favorite role of Mom to her daughter Alexia.
Motherhood along with her passion and dedication for philanthropy inspired her to create an organization that meets a very important need. Not one to shy away from a challenge Project Ladybug a 501c3 non profit organization came to be. To date Project Ladybug has raised over one million dollars through creative projects and events to help children with cancer and their families.
Dina is also a mentor and teacher for those who seek to find the meaning behind event planning and design. Through her expert party planning courses Dina’s Party School in partnership with Lovegevity she offers anyone and everyone the opportunity to bring both small and large events to life. Also known for her great love care and protection of animals her two-legged rescue pup Gracie inspires her each day to be a dedicated advocate for animal adoption and rescue.
