Deborah DiSanzo is the newly appointed General Manager for IBM Watson Health which was founded in April 2015 to support IBMs next ‘moonshot’: to help advance health globally. Ms. DiSanzo brings to IBM its partners and its clients more than 30 years’ experience working at the intersection of healthcare and technology most recently as CEO for Philips Healthcare and earlier in her career at Hewlett-Packard and Apollo Computer. She will lead more than 2000 IBMers worldwide from Watson Health headquarters in Cambridge Massachusetts.
Ms. DiSanzo has an ambitious mandate to scale the IBM Watson Health business globally expand the capabilities of the IBM Watson Health Cloud and broaden a growing ecosystem of start-up companies and established industry leaders building on IBM’s technology platform. Further she will oversee a fast growing roster of clients collaborators and ecosystem partners including marquis relationships with Johnson & Johnson Apple Medtronic Epic CVS Health and Teva Pharmaceuticals.
