David Sills Biography

Dr. David Sills is an internationally known keynote speaker whose expertise in the area of intercultural interaction training those in other cultures experiences of travels and living overseas and the process of adjusting to life in other cultures from over two decades of serving as missionary seminary professor minister and missions administrator has taken him around the world and resulted in nine books in these fields of study. Appreciated for his knowledge of other cultures and assisting others in the do’s and taboos for Westerners working with others he is also a sought-after speaker for his wit and the humor he weaves throughout his cultural insights.
David received his B.A. from Belhaven College an M.Div. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a D. Miss. and Ph.D. from Reformed Theological Seminary.
In addition to many years of travel and work around the globe David and his wife lived traveled worked and raised their two children in Costa Rica and Ecuador. They have been married over forty years and have eight grandchildren.
