Daniel Kucan Biography

Daniel Kucan (born October 16 1971) is an interior designer (with co-hosts Michael Moloney and Tanya McQueen) on the Emmy Award-winning TV series Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. He made his debut appearance in the episode titled The Ginyard Family. Kucan was born and raised in Las Vegas Nevada. Prior to joining EM: HE he began his education in design and carpentry at age seven. Kucan attended New York University where he added a global perspective to his style and embraced the East Village rock and roll aesthetic of the downtown crowd.
After graduating from N.Y.U. Kucan moved back to California and became the lead designer for Hollywood's Mortise and Tenon. Here he found a warm home among the trendy Hollywood elite where he is able to happily construct and design furniture.
