Cyndi Stivers is a digital-strategy and media consultant currently working with Tina Brown Live Media (previously: Time Inc. National Geographic Etsy etc.). She has shepherded media startups and reinvigorated venerable brands on just about every platform ranging from Martha Stewart's Sirius XM channel to Columbia Journalism Review. Most notably she led the launch of Time Out in North America (1995–2005). For six years she taught a digital-magazine workshop at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She is a trustee of Barnard College of which she is a proud alumna.
