Clark Janell Davis is an American marvel expo champion from Lexington, Kentucky, who was delegated Miss Kentucky 2015. She vied for the Miss America 2016 title in September 2015. On January 10, 2015, in an expo held at Lexington Christian Academy, Davis was delegated Miss Horse Capital of the World 2015. With that title, she entered the Miss Kentucky expo in July 2015 as one of 31 qualifiers for the state title. Contending at the Singletary Center for the Arts on the University of Kentucky grounds, Davis sang "Midyear" from the drama Porgy and Bess by George Gershwin in the ability segment of the program. Her public assistance stage is expanding public attention to dyslexia, a learning handicap that Davis has attempted to defeat since youth. Davis won the opposition on Saturday, July 4, 2015, when she got her crown from active Miss Kentucky champion Ramsey Carpenter. She brought in more than $15,000 in grant cash and different prizes from the state exhibition. As Miss Kentucky, Davis' exercises incorporate public appearances over the province of Kentucky and the nation offering her battles to dyslexia, in addition to her message of assurance and diligence which permitted her to graduate a year ahead of schedule from secondary school and go to the University of Kentucky on a full grant. Davis was Kentucky's agent at the Miss America 2016 exhibition in Atlantic City, New Jersey, in September 2015. In the broadcast finale on September 13, 2015, she set external the Top 15 semi-finalists and was dispensed with from the opposition. Davis was the most youthful contender. She was granted a $3,000 grant prize as her state's delegate. Davis is a local of Lexington, Kentucky, and went to the School for the Creative and Performing Arts in Lexington, Kentucky, as a show major from the fourth to the eighth grade. She is a 2014 alumni of Lafayette High School. Her dad is Johnathon Davis and her mom is Ginger Lynn Davis (née Clark). Davis went to the University of Kentucky where she considered vocal execution and political theory.
