A lover of fiction and fantasy Christine A. Platt enjoys writing stories interwoven with African diasporic experiences. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Africana Studies from the University of South Florida and Master of Arts in African Studies from The Ohio State University.
She also received her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law and enjoyed working as a Senior Policy Advisor at the US Department of Energy before returning to her love for storytelling.Platt’s debut novel The Truth About About Awiti was published through her indie press Field Order Press in March 2015.
