Chris Gardner entered the world on February 9 in the year 1954, in Milwaukee within the state of Wisconsin where he spent his childhood amidst circumstances marked by poverty and upheaval that posed obstacles before him to overcome. Despite these adversities faced during his years struggling to make ends meet and provide a better future for his loved ones was always a priority, for Chris. The course of his life took a turn as he found himself without a place to call home while taking care of his son showing unwavering determination and perseverance amidst adversity. Refusing to succumb to despair or give up on his dreams Chris seized an opportunity by securing an internship at a profile firm where he dedicated himself tirelessly towards advancing up the ranks within the corporate hierarchy.  In 1987 in Chicago Chris founded his brokerage firm called Gardner Rich & Co. showcasing his spirit and drive which was later captured in his popular book "The Pursuit of Happyness" that was made into a hit movie featuring Will Smith, as the lead actor.The movie and book have motivated people to chase after their aspirations despite the challenges they face.  Chris Gardner is, in demand as a speaker these days and he travels the world sharing his experiences and wisdom with various audiences.
