Carolyn relocated to Los Angeles in 1998 after graduating from the University of Miami with an AA in Microbiology (1st 2 years on the medical track), a BS in Communications (Film), and a BA in Theatre Performance. Carolyn came into a book that will transform her life permanently after only a few months.
She decided to transition to a plant-based diet after reading Fit For Life as a way to get in LA shape after years of suffering from her weight.
She went on to get her masters in holistic nutrition, attended prestigious culinary programs, and got a head start on her PhD in naturopathic medicine while successfully running her full-service Lifestyle and Entertainment PR, Branding, and Event Planning firm, Ineventions, all while successfully running her full-service Lifestyle and Entertainment PR, Branding, and Event Planning firm, Inventions.
Carolyn chose to combine her many interests of travel, healthy eating, and cinema after working in TV development and expanding her company's production division.
The Healthy Voyager program was created in 2005 to provide an amusing resource for those like her who had difficulty traveling due to dietary limitations, as well as others who wanted to be healthy, green, and fit while away from home.
She's been traveling and dining healthily and happily with her spouse with opposite culinary tastes since 2006, all while filming it for the Healthy Voyager Web Series and building the Healthy Voyager brand.
While travel remains the brand's main focus, The Healthy Voyager is a one-stop-shop for everything healthy and green, from travel and food to fashion and relationships, motherhood to health and environmental news.
The award-winning web series has a variety of show topics, the radio show interviews leaders and celebrities in the healthy and green world, and the website is a wealth of information with articles, directories, giveaways, and more, with many new and exciting projects and products launching on a regular basis.
The Healthy Voyager brand is now a renowned one-stop shop resource for healthy and green living, with over 700,000 devoted members and increasing. The Healthy Voyagers Global Kitchen, Carolyn's first cookbook, was released in January of this year. 150 Plant-Based Recipes From Around the World was also launched, and it can be found at all major bookstores around the country.
