In 1992, Carmen created SDI International Corp. with the goal of using emerging technology to streamline company operations and save money. As President/CEO of SDI, Carmen's daily responsibilities include overseeing the company's operations, sales cycles, and customer support initiatives. She assesses potential markets for SDI's service offerings and ensures that contract administration and corporate agreements are followed.
Carmen continues to realize her goal by pushing her company into new countries each year, according to her slogan of "Build Globally, Think Locally." She is also a member of the US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's board of directors.
