Camila was born in Belo Horizonte Brazil spending her childhood on the beaches of Bahia and the farmlands of Minas Gerais. At the age of 15 Camila risked everything and moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream career in fashion. Though she arrived speaking only Portuguese Camila picked up English while cleaning houses and waiting tables eager to break into the modeling industry. At 19 her dream led her to New York and then around the world—from Paris and Milan to Asia and Africa.

In July 2012 Camila was named the face of Macy's I.N.C. International Concepts. The Brazilian beauty appeared in television commercials as well as print campaigns for the brand.
In 2010 Camila accepted her first television role serving as the host of the third season of the hit reality show Shear Genius on Bravo. She has also co-hosted The View and appeared as a guest on Rachael Ray Jimmy Kimmel Live! Fashion Police and Chelsea Lately.
