Brian Tessier Biography

Brian R. Tessier is the Executive Director of the Schneider Electric Center of Digital Innovation (CODI) Laboratory and Vice President of Global Supply Chain Innovation. From January 2013 until April 2016, Mr. Tessier was Director of Customer Satisfaction & Quality at Schneider Electric North America. He has worked in Continuous Improvement and Customer Satisfaction & Quality since January 2002. Mr. Tessier is in charge of Schneider Electric's Global Supply Chain Innovation Office. He is in charge of innovation for a 12 billion euro supply chain that employs 80,000 people and includes more than 250 production plants and 100+ distribution centers. Global Supply Chain Innovation is tasked with delivering on the key principles of innovation – thought leadership, creating networks to connect existing functional areas of innovation, harnessing VOC/VOB/VOE in idea development, and building/running an effective, transparent, and efficient global innovation process for the purpose of lowering costs, generating revenue, and enhancing competitiveness – under his leadership. Brian has extensive experience in hardware and software development, manufacturing and industrial automation, statistical process control, quality and productivity enhancements, business process improvement, key customer crisis management, strategic program development, and enterprise program oversight. Since 1996, Mr. Tessier has worked in senior technical consulting roles for clients such as Microsoft, IBM, UPS, and the US Department of Homeland Security. Mr. Tessier earned a bachelor's degree in management information systems from Nichols College and also finished the Six Sigma Master Black Belt program at Ohio State University's Fischer College of Business.
