Brian Patch Biography

Brian Patch is a five-year XG veteran who has recently had some bad luck. In December, he injured his collarbone; his company, Clockwork Skateboards, went out of business in early 2000; and in May, he sustained a concussion and sprained ankle while attempting to beat the world record for distance jumping. Brian Patch is a multi-talented individual. He set a Guinness World Record for the longest air on a skateboard in 2001, at a distance of 58 feet. Danny Way shattered that record, and in 2006, they'll compete in XG Big Air for the first time. Brian is one of the team's most versatile skaters, having won five X Games gold in the disciplines of Park, Street Best Trick, and Vert Doubles, as well as being a skilled bowl skater. He won gold in Crossover at the Winter X Games in 1997.
