Brian Chesky was born August 29, 1981 and is an American internet developer and is best known for being the founder and CEO of Airbnb, a hospitality exchange service.

Airbnb was started in August 2008 by Brian Chesky and Joe Gebbia, who were inspired when they decided to rent out their apartment for a design conference in San Francisco. The company was incubated at the Y Combinator. In its first year the company began internationalizing and opened several new offices in Europe.
