Boris Brejcha Biography

Boris Brejcha entered the world on November 26, 1981, in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany. He stands as a pioneering DJ and record producer who developed High‑Tech Minimal as his own genre through the fusion of techno, minimal, electro, trance and progressive house into a distinctive melodic sound.

The start of his musical path began when he received drum and keyboard instruction during his childhood following the 1988 Ramstein air show disaster that left him six years old until his recovery period of months inspired him to pursue music. At age 12, he discovered hardcore techno music through a CD which sparked his interest in electronic music production and led him to start creating music during his teenage years.

Brejcha released his debut tracks Monster and Yellow Kitchen through Autist Records in 2006 which brought him immediate success and earned him the 2007 Exceptional Talent title from Raveline magazine. He established his own label Fckng Serious in 2015 together with Ann Clue and Deniz Bul after releasing on Harthouse which solidified his position as an independent music force.

Brejcha performs exclusively with his original music content which includes numerous albums and singles that led to his Ultra Records releases Space Diver (2020) and Level One (2024) while his song “Gravity” reached gold status in Mexico. During his first half of performance he wears his Venetian joker mask which draws from Carnival traditions to create theatrical mystique before he reveals his authentic self by removing the mask during the middle of his set.
