Asha Saxena Biography

Asha Saxena is an Indian-born entrepreneur, professor, author, and global keynote speaker on AI, big data, and business strategy. A graduate of Bangalore University with a B.S. in Computer Science, she holds an M.S. in Data Science from Southern Methodist University and completed management programs at MIT and London Business School. 

She is the founder and CEO of Women Leaders in Data and AI (WLDA), a global organization promoting equity and leadership for women in data and AI. With over 30 years of experience, Saxena has built and sold three tech businesses, including Future Technologies Inc., a data management firm serving Fortune 1000 companies like The New York Times and Goldman Sachs, which she led for 20 years, and Aculyst Corp., a healthcare analytics firm. Saxena is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, teaching graduate courses in healthcare consulting, entrepreneurship, and big data analytics, and served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Columbia Business School. 

She authored the Amazon bestseller “The AI Factor: How to Apply Artificial Intelligence and Use Big Data to Grow Your Business Exponentially” (2023), offering practical AI strategies for business leaders. A frequent contributor to Entrepreneur Magazine, she hosts The AI Talk Show on LinkedIn Live. She speaks at global conferences like the World Economic Forum, The AI Summit, and YPO Innovation Week.
