It’s not easy for the average person to minister to young people. Human nature allows us the ability to forget the mindset of a teenager once we past adolescence. The ability to be impressionable and also relatable is a struggle for most ministers. Anthony O’Neal is not the average person or minister. His ministry was birthed at a moment full of disarray, confusion and challenges. He was $18,000 in debt and bored with the nightlife when he committed himself to ministry. He has been making world shifting and above average moves since that day.

Inspired the transformation within his life, Anthony committed himself to helping his peers do the same. In 2003, Anthony O’Neal Ministries was birthed with the intent of motivating youth to find and pursue their passions. The ministry equips today’s youth through enrichment programs enabling them to make wise financial decisions. Anthony’s life lessons birthed this ministry and he dedicates himself to empowering young people with a vision to succeed in their individual lives.

On any given day, Anthony is guaranteed to be seen in one of his many roles: youth pastor, motivational speaker and community leader. He has been featured on BET, Fox News, CBN, CNN, Dave Ramsey Show and TBN. Anthony’s story and words can be found in several magazines, including Outreach magazine recently acknowledged Anthony for leading one of the fastest growing youth ministries in the country and the second largest in Florida. In 2012 Anthony made history, as reported by CNN, NY Times and the Associated Press. He led the state of North Carolina largest prayer walk, God Belongs in My City – Fayetteville (AsOne), with over 6,500 in attendance.

Anthony has orchestrated youth conferences with over 3,000 in attendance, concerts and events. Industry leaders Mason Betha, Kirk Franklin, Deitrick Haddon, Vashawn Mitchell, Johnathan McReynolds, Canton Jones, Mali Music and Tye Tribbett are a few of those who have been connected to Anthony’s events. Sarah Jakes, GooGoo Atkins, Letoya Luckett, Brian White, Flex Alexander and Actor Kel Mitchell have joined endeavors to help lead the nation’s youth to a path of greatness. He has been an integral part of several conferences including Bishop T.D. Jakes’ Mega-Fest, Bishop I.V. Hilliard’s Spiritual Encounter, Catalyst Leadership Conference and Dave Ramsey Smart Conferences. Anthony believes in doing ministry outside of the church walls. His dedication to community change was instrumental in him being inducted into Leadership Florida’s “Connect Florida Class V,” which represents the top leaders under 35 in Florida. Amongst this group of educators and business professionals, Anthony is the only faith-based leader.

Recently Anthony joined Ramsey Solutions (Dave Ramsey) to spread encouraging messages to students and churches nationwide. Before joining Ramsey Solutions, Anthony was the Pastor of One Way Youth Ministries at The Bethel Church in Jacksonville, FL. One Way has become one of the fastest growing youth ministries in the country.
