Anthony Moore Biography

British producer, performer and experimental music composer, Anthony Moore was born on August 13, 1948. He is a founding member of the band Slapp Happy, worked with Henry Cow and recorded solo albums World Service (1981) and Flying Doesn't Help (1979). Moore is also a lyricist and has worked with Pink Floyd on two of their albums: A Momentary Lapse of Reason (1987) and The Division Bell (1994). He also contributed to the music used in the instrumental “Calling” from The Endless River (2014). He also collaborated with Kevin Ayers on different projects and also wrote lyrics to Julian Lennon's Help Yourself (1991) and Trevor Rabin's Can't Look Away (1989). He’s responsible for the lyrics to Richard Wright's Broken China (1996).
