Annia Hatch is an American Olympian and a Cuban-American gymnast. Hatch began gymnastics at the age of five in her native Cuba. At the age of 10, she won her first Cuban National Championships. She would win the championship seven times during the course of her career.
Hatch won a lot of events and qualified for the 1996 Olympics while playing for Cuba. Hatch was unable to compete in the Olympics due to a shortage of finance by the Cuban Olympic Committee. Hatch retired in 1997 and relocated to the United States. Hatch's career took off after that.
