Angela Byron is the key developer of Drupal 7, the winner of the Google-O'Reilly Open 2008 Source Award for Best Contributor, and an Open Source enthusiast who lives and breathes Drupal. She began as a Google Summer of Code student in 2005 and has since become totally absorbed in the Drupal community. Her responsibilities include core coding and patch review, developing and contributing modules and themes, testing and quality assurance activities inside the project, documentation improvement, and user help through forums and IRC. Angela oversaw Lullabot's participation in O'Reilly's first Drupal book, Using Drupal. She serves on the Drupal Association's Board of Directors and works to promote community development by spearheading initiatives to engage new contributors, such as Drupal's involvement in Google Summer of Code and Google's Highly Open Participation (GHOP) programs.
