Andrew Krepinevich is a defense policy analyst, president of the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments, and Distinguished Visiting Professor at George Mason University™s School of Public Policy. An author, lecturer, and consultant on U.S. military strategy and policy, he has served in the Defense Department™s Office of Net Assessment as well as on the National Defense Panel, the Defense Science Board Task Force on Joint Experimentation, and the Joint Forces Command™s Transformation Advisory Board. He has also worked on the personal staff of three secretaries of defense. He is the author of The Army and Vietnam.
