Andrew Burr is a Fellow with DOE’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, where he works on urban strategies and building technologies deployment. He was previously director of policy at the Institute for Market Transformation (IMT), where he advised state, local, and federal policymakers on clean energy policy and political strategy.
At IMT, he launched the City Energy Project, a $20 million energy policy initiative with the Natural Resources Defense Council and 10 American cities. Andrew has been quoted by national media including the New York Times, USA Today, and Governing Magazine, and has presented on U.S. energy policy in China and Europe. He graduated from Bucknell University.
