Mims also has a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Barry University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political History and an MBA in Finance from Nova Southeastern University. Mims, an enthusiastic sailor, has sailed throughout Australia and the Caribbean. On land, she enjoys golf, cross-country skiing, and can frequently be spotted behind the wheel of her automobile on Malaysia's F1 circuit.
