French figure skater Isabelle Delobel was born on June 17, 1978, in Clermont-Ferrand. She now competes with Olivier Schoenfelder in ice dancing. They won both the Grand Prix Final and the World Championship in 2008. Since the 1996–1997 season, Delobel and Schoenfelder have competed internationally as seniors. They have been skating together since 1990. At Skate Canada in 1999, they earned their first Grand Prix medal, and during the 2002–03 season, they won their first national title. Less than two points separated them from the bronze medalists as they placed fourth in the 2006 Olympics. They captured their lone European championship the following year.
