Alison Whybrow

Focused on building individual contribution and organisational excellence, Alison has worked for nearly 20 years as a psychologist in business. Early in her career, Alison was involved in researching OD and change initiatives in the manufacturing and service sectors. She worked in a leading research institute at a time when the manufacturing industry was going through significant transformation, with a role supporting clients to develop and evaluate change strategies. Alison moved into the private sector ten years ago, working first in a leading assessment and development consultancy before moving to work as an independent practitioner resulting in rich cross-sector experience. In particular, Alison gained significant experience supporting private equity clients selecting entrepreneurial businesses to invest in. Alison brings this rich background to her work as a coach where she supports individuals to achieve their personal and business aspirations.

Alison’s coaching experience focuses on working with individuals who are experiencing significant change in their personal or work circumstances. She often supports individuals working in businesses moving from an entrepreneurial to a professional structure, and with individuals who are moving into new sectors or careers. Alison raises her clients’ awareness of the limitations they may unwittingly impose on themselves and supports them to clarify their aspirations and the full range of choices they have to move forward.
