With 15 programs worldwide Techstars mentorship-driven accelerators fund the best companies in the most entrepreneurial communities. Alisha manages the accelerator in Kansas City and works closely with startups on all aspects of their businesses including strategy product marketing partnerships and fundraising. Alisha's background is in market research digital marketing and social media. Alisha launched her career in entrepreneurship and digital media on the information data products team at the largest US independent B2B magazine publisher managing the development of new online B2B products. An integral part of the digital marketing team at AMC Theatres Alisha contributed to all social media and website marketing channels for the second-largest American movie theatre chain. At Ameristar Casinos she developed and implemented the social media strategy for seven casino hotel resort properties and built a team from the ground up. Alisha's serves on the board for the Social Media Club of Kansas City UMKC Bloch School of Management Alumni and volunteers as a mentor for Big Brother Big Sisters. She believes in the importance of mentoring at all stages of a career and regularly volunteers her time giving back to her community.
