Alisa Volkman is the Co-Founder of Babble, a major website for parents and a platform for top female bloggers, which she founded in December 2006 with her husband, Rufus Griscom. In 2011, The Walt Disney Company bought Babble, and Alisa and Rufus proceeded to build the business for another two years, growing globally and across women's lifestyle categories. She's working on her next interesting project right now. Alisa worked as Senior Director of Product and Sales Strategy for Disney Interactive's Family Division, which includes five digital assets and reaches over 17 million monthly users, during her time at Disney. She oversaw revenue strategy, influenced research and development, led a team that created and sold innovative content and social media executions for leading brands, and developed cross-platform revenue opportunities with TWDC's other divisions, including Studios, Parks, ABC, ESPN, and Marvel, in her role as Senior Director. Alisa was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Nerve.com before starting Babble, where she built advertising into the company's main source of income. Declan, Grey, and Rye are Alisa and Rufus' three sons.
