Alimi can be seen as Fusco alongside Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson & Vin Diesel in Universal's number one worldwide blockbuster "Fast Five." Also be sure to catch his recurring arc as Gayne Levin on televisions's #1 drama "NCIS." Ballard is possibly best known for his portrayal of Special Agent David Sinclair on Tony and Ridley Scott’s highly successful CBS crime drama "NUMB3RS," for 6 seasons. Previously he starred with Jessica Alba as Herbal Thought in James Cameron’s cult favorite "Dark Angel"

An avid comic collector, Ballard is thrilled to lend his voice to the role of FALCON for the Marvel animated series and video game SUPER HERO SQUAD. No stranger to series television, Ballard has also starred on SABRINA, THE TEENAGE WITCH as the Quizmaster, as Vivica Fox’s younger brother on ARSENIO, and on the ABC daytime drama LOVING as Frankie Hubbard. Guest-starring roles include "In Planet Sight," "Rizzoli & Isles," "Drop Dead Diva" and CSI among others. Ballard has also graced the screen alongside such talent as Cuba Gooding Jr. in 20th Century Fox’s "Men of Honor" and Tea Leoni in Dreamworks’ "Deep Impact."

Born and raised in The Bronx, Ballard became involved with MindBuilders, a local community center dedicated to the empowerment of youth, on the encouragement of his godfather. He was swiftly cast in a play called “No Laughing Matter" and weeks later he found himself touring New York City high schools, elementary schools, libraries & local theaters with the show. He soon set his sights on a professional acting career and came to perform with such notable companies as the Manhattan Theater Club and the National Black Theater. Ballard currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two beautiful children.
