On Saturdays and Sundays, Alex Witt anchors the MSNBC show "Weekends with Alex Witt." Witt has been an anchor for MSNBC since January 1999, covering both the daytime and evening hours. During the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections, Witt traveled throughout the country on the campaign trail.
She also covered the last week of the 2003 California gubernatorial election, following Arnold Schwarzenegger around the state.
