Tim Higham

Tim was widely credited in the 1990s for modernizing the heavily paper-reliant insurance sector by harnessing the Internet to make the transaction nearly paperless. He switched to the transportation and logistics industry after selling IRC, Inc. in 1998 and founded Interstate Logistics Group by fusing "new school" technology with an "old school" philosophy.

Tim transformed the paper-intensive transportation sector in a similar way to how he altered the insurance business. With revenue per employee more than eight times the national industry average, Interstate has developed into one of the most specialized third-party logistics organizations in the United States.
