Susan Amat

Entrepreneurship education firm Venture Hive, founded by Dr. Susan Amat, assists K–12, higher education, and incubator/accelerator programs in the development of innovation ecosystems in schools, governments, and municipalities. She established many companies in the entertainment sector during a ten-year period, including the first CD-Rom magazine and a major network television program on the E! Network. Dr.

Amat created devices for monitoring children's health after receiving her MBA, and she also obtained a Ph.D. in strategic entrepreneurship (coursework in industrial engineering, business, and education). She established The Launch Pad, which is regarded as the leading example in entrepreneurship education, while she was a professor at the University of Miami.
