In 1998 and 2009, Steve Breen was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning. His syndicated editorial cartoons run in over 300 newspapers around the country. Steve graduated from the University of California, Riverside, with a degree in political science in 1992.
In 1996, he was employed as an editorial cartoonist for the Asbury Park Press (NJ), and in 2001, he was hired by The San Diego Union-Tribune. Steve Breen was born in 1970 in Los Angeles and grew up in Orange County. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of California, Riverside, in 1992.
