Rick Peyser has spent over 23 years working for Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, where he currently holds the Director of Social Advocacy and Coffee Community Outreach position. He is an accomplished leader in the coffee industry, having served as President of the Specialty Coffee Association of America and on the Board of Directors of the Fair Trade Labeling Organizations International (FLO). His work has benefitted over 1.5 million small-scale farmers worldwide through implementing Fair Trade standards. Currently, Peyser is involved with several nonprofit organizations, including Coffee Kids, Food For Farmers, and Fundacion Ixil, where he serves on their respective Boards of Directors. His efforts are focused on improving the quality of life in coffee communities in Guatemala.
