Nigel Travis joined Papa John's as president and chief executive officer April 1, 2005. Travis is responsible for all aspects of Papa John's business, including worldwide operations, franchising, restaurant development and marketing. He is a member of the Papa John's board of directors, reporting to the board and its chairman and company founder, John Schnatter.
Travis has extensive experience leading and growing international brands with large franchise communities. He worked for Blockbuster Inc. for10 years, including serving as president and chief operating officer from 2000 to 2004. During Travis' tenure at Blockbuster, worldwide revenue grew from $3.9 billion in 1998 to $5.9 billion in 2003.
