Harry Shearer is an actor and comic.

He is best known for his role in co-creating and co-starring in the 1984 film This is Spinal Tap and for creating and performing more than a dozen characters on Fox's The Simpsons.His internationally syndicated weekly radio hour Le Show is now in its 29th year of political and media satire.Shearer has written and directed two feature films the 2001 comedy Teddy Bears Picnic and the 2010 documentary The Big Uneasy.
