Ed Reinfurt Biography

Colonel Ed Reinfurt (Ret.) is a Project Lead for client engagements and is currently leading a consulting effort with a financial services company. In this role Ed advises senior leadership on internal communication strategic alignment and decision-making processes.
Prior to joining McChrystal Group Ed spent 32 years in the United States Army with tours in both conventional and special operations units. A combat veteran of Iraq Afghanistan and other locations Ed commanded diverse organizations with thousands of people distributed globally.
Renowned for his ability to build relationships and trust in new and complex environments Ed repeatedly was picked to lead teams that combined people from many organizations and backgrounds. His final position in the military was as the Deputy Director for Military Operations at the Central Intelligence Agency’s Counterterrorism Center reflecting his ability to thrive in complex environments.
Ed graduated from Norwich University in 1985 received Master’s degrees from the University of Oklahoma and the United States Army War College. He completed a post-graduate fellowship at the Central Intelligence Agency.
