Drew Seeley Biography

Drew Seeley was born and raised in Toronto, where he initially discovered his passion for the theatre. He was cast in Hal Prince's revival of Showboat when he was 11 years old and stayed with the show for a year. He has appeared in episodes of One Tree Hill, Dawson's Creek, and Guiding Light as a guest star. Drew is also a musician who has traveled the country with the R&B group Nu Ground as one of the lead singers. Drew started working with seasoned producer Ray Cham in 2005, and the two collaborated on the song "Getcha Head in the Game" for Disney's quadruple platinum High School Musical album. This earned them an Emmy nomination in the category of "Best Original Song and Lyrics." Drew also appeared in the 60,000-seat arena tours of "High School Musical: The Concert" in North America and Latin America. Drew can be featured in Belinda Peregrin's music video "Ni Freud, Ni Tu Mama" and his song and video "Dance with Me" from the platinum Cheetah Girls 2 album can be viewed on the Disney Channel. Drew starred alongside Valerie Bertinelli in the Hallmark Channel film Claire, as well as co-wrote and produced the soundtrack for the film Fly Kidz. He also composed and performed music for Corbin Bleu's Disney Channel Original Movie "Jump In!" Drew is now on a nationwide tour, singing original songs and working on his debut album. Drew is presently starring with Selena Gomez in Warner Premiere's Another Cinderella Story as pop sensation Joey Parker. Drew composed and performed four songs for the film, as well as shooting music videos for both versions of his popular single, "New Classic."
