Doug Lederman is co-editor and one of three founders of the online publication Inside Higher Ed. From 1999 to 2003 he was managing editor of The Chronicle of Higher Education where he had worked in a variety of roles since 1986. He began his career as a news clerk at The New York Times. Lederman speaks widely about higher education and his work has appeared in The New York Times USA Today The Christian Science Monitor and the Princeton Alumni Weekly. He has won three National Awards for Education Reporting from the Education Writers Association.
