While Brooke is a Fitness Universe Champion, personal trainer, and former NFL cheerleader who has appeared and contributed to publications such as Oxygen Women’s Fitness Magazine, Natural Muscle Magazine, Redbook Magazine, and GQ, among others – first and foremost, Brooke is a mom.

Brooke knows what it is like to struggle to find time to make healthy living a priority after becoming a mother. In her quest to lose the 68 pounds of baby weight she gained after having her son, Brooke implemented a fitness and nutrition plan based on her knowledge as a former fitness competitor. She customized her plan based on the realistic need for a simplified and easy-to-follow strategy that is necessary for any busy mom. After losing the weight and returning to her pre-pregnancy physique within five months, Brooke realized there was a need for a community of other mothers facing the same struggle. With that, Skinny Mom was born in March 2011.
