Born on March 26, 1955 Ann Meyers Drysdale is a retired American basketball player and sportscaster. She attended Sonora High School in La Habra, California and earned thirteen Most Valuable Player awards. In 1974, she became the first high school student to play for the U.S. national team.

She became a member of the US team that won the 1975 Pan American Games Gold medal. She was playing for the US Olympic basketball team that won a Silver Medal in the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. She was also a participant on the US team that won the 1979 FIBA World Championship for Women Gold medal.
