Philanthropic Solutions and the Family Office are led by Ann Limberg. She oversees the delivery of strategy, services, and outreach within these two domains, ensuring that their synergies and objectives are met across the firm. Limberg handles strategic, fiduciary, and administrative services for Merrill Lynch and U.S. Trust's Charitable Solutions to assist individuals and families build, managing, and protecting philanthropic wealth. She also oversees U.S. Trust's direct work with nonprofits, ensuring mission accomplishment and organizational stability through investment strategy, administration, board and staff education, and advancement. Limberg supervises a range of integrated products for multi-generational families with complicated requirements as head of the Family Office, a specialty practice inside U.S. Trust. The firm provides integrated financial strategy, investment advice, fiduciary and administrative services, and cross-generational educational activities in collaboration with a family's advisers in order to ensure good stewardship and successful asset preservation and transfer. Since 2004, Limberg has been at Bank of America, where he has assumed increasing responsibility. Her past positions include Northeast Division Executive for U.S. Trust, where she supervised customer engagement and wealth management strategy across 20 offices in nine states, and regional executive for U.S. Trust, where she directed the firm's operations in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Limberg also served as Bank of America's New Jersey state president while in her regional executive job. Limberg has held top executive roles at Fleet Boston Financial, NatWest, and Citibank during his career. Limberg has received several professional and civic accolades. She was named one of the "Wall Street 50" honorees by Irish America magazine. Other awards include the United Way's Women United in Philanthropy Award, the American Conference on Diversity's Humanitarian Award, the Executive Women of New Jersey's "Salute to the Policy Makers," and NJBIZ's "New Jersey's Best 50 Women in Business" and "Top 25 Women of Influence." Limberg, who is passionate about charity, serves in a variety of leadership capacities in the community. She is a member of the Valley Hospital board of trustees, where she serves as board secretary; the Macaulay Honors College Foundation, where she chairs the Development Committee; NJTV; and Bergen County's United Way. Limberg is also a member of the City University of New York's Business Leadership Council and the Committee of 200, a group of top female executives devoted to promoting development and expanding possibilities for female entrepreneurs and business leaders throughout the world. Limberg graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a B.A. in humanities and a minor in business administration. She's also a graduate of the Cannon Trust School for Executive Education.
